Aku jimat the title of this obscure I-Phone gaming app that is available costing only 99 cents, with such a price you can learn or use it to teach your children (or spouse) to start saving from a young age so that they too can buy morbidly expensive items when they grow up. Developed by ‘Antartic Group’ W//W believe that this local outfit produced a lively game embedded with a rather stinging dose of sarcasm.

The main character, with a very familiar hairdo, aims to save as much money as possible during childhood so that later on she can purchase expensive fancy items such as a 24 million dollar ring, designer bags and other luxury items. This game aims to educate children the importance of saving through various money saving challenges and colourful adventures.

Apparently the game developer is taking a jab at the Prime Minister’s wife over several controversies and rumours revolving her shopping habits. Apart from the familiar hairdo which is a direct jab of the Datin Seri herself, the game concept was believed to be inspired from a photoshopped fake news front page that was circulated around the Internet not so long ago.

Nonetheless it is quite interesting how politics has evolved around Malaysia these days and how social media now play such a prominent influence in the arena. I-Phone users, do check it out and download it for as low as 99 cents and tell us what you think of it, mail us at editor@wirawanweb.com or drop us a line via twitter at @wirawanweb and perhaps, maybe you can learn the importance of saving money
