It’s no secret that Google have been trying to get some piece of the social cake that Twitter and Facebook have been hogging. They had launch their own version of a social network, the Google+, it gets a lot of traction at first but only sticks to the geeks.

One thing that Google have been great at is search, which is not social. So here we see Google trying to bring the two together. Google introduces ‘Search plus your world‘. It used to be that the search result you get from Google are based on it’s complicated algorithm that indexes the entire web, however, soon your Google search result will be mixed together with the stuff your friends posts.

It supposed to make the search result be more personal. This also means that Google will be indexing all your personal stuff you post on Google+. While Google seems to think that it’s ‘Search plus your world’, it’s only that if ‘your world’ is Google+.
