Alas it has something to do LulzSec again but rather than highlighting their hacking shenanigans, this time around it’s about the news that surrounds them, well more like a news report about them, an animated one. Well I think it’s best for you to see it for yourself
Lulz for LulzSec
Who needs boring well dressed newscasters when you can have an animated news coupled with cheesy effects and 3D rendering. This may very well be a new news reporting platform and redefine the whole idea of the way we present the news. Why need to spend money on real journalists and expensive live satellite telecasts from Tahrir Square, just get the gist of the news and animate it, it sure as heel cheaper (and safer) then getting real pictures. Suicide bomb in Baghdad, Libya’s revolution, debt ? Just animate it accordingly based on pictures of those location you see in Wikipedia and Google maps.
New Media Animation a company based in Taiwan is behind this new initiative, not much is known about that apart from their official website nma.tv and twitter @nmatv. Didn’t explain much about who they and it seems that their Facebook page is being run by Li Anne a host with NMA TV.
Yes NMA do have real people in their shows and Li Anne is one of them. However just to add the bizzare attraction to their unconventional way of news reporting, NMA.tv also hosts a weather show featuring cute Weather girls who, ironically, speaks Japanese. Let me remind you that NMA is based in Taiwan, most of their news reporting is done in Mandarin with the exception of the weather girls. These uniformed clad weather girls will prance around in random dance moves and cutesy photo poses while at the same time highlight weather reports around the United States. Wait, let me rephrase that, Taiwan news, featuring Japanese speaking hosts reporting on the weather in United States, what the..
Did you catch the weather forecast for Philadelphia? Or were you too distracted with “Kitty” the Sunday weather reporting girl doing random moves and prancing around with her friends. Ahh the Internets, Serious Business indeed.
